Board Meeting Procedures

The following meeting procedures of the Board may be of potential interest to applicants:

• Applicants wishing to forward information or materials to the Board must do so through the Secretariat;
• Board meetings will be held in camera;
• Board members shall respect the confidential nature of documents, information and records received as Board members, and restrict the use of this information to their work as Board members;
• Board members will not discuss individual submissions for review outside the Board's deliberations. Applicants should not attempt to discuss their applications with Board members. In response to an applicant's attempt to lobby Board members, the Board may cease its review of the application and notify the Minister accordingly.

The Chief Executive of Secretariat shall serve as Secretary to the Board.
